This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

Trace Minerals Drops are a concentrated liquid supplement derived primarily from mineral-rich water sources like the Great Salt Lake in Utah or seawater, processed to remove most sodium and deliver a broad spectrum of ionic trace elements. Unlike single-mineral supplements, these drops provide dozens of minerals in their ionic form — the same form found naturally in the human body — making them highly bioavailable. They are designed to complement a healthy diet by restoring the trace minerals that have been lost from soils and food over decades of modern agriculture.
Ionic minerals dissolve completely in water and carry an electrical charge, allowing them to be absorbed directly through the gut wall without requiring much digestion. These minerals act as cofactors for hundreds of enzymes in the body — meaning enzymes literally cannot do their jobs without them — supporting everything from energy metabolism to immune signaling to nerve conduction. Magnesium alone is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions, and many people are chronically low in it along with several other trace elements.
Most products come as a concentrated liquid that you add to water, juice, or food — typically 20–40 drops per serving. Some formulas are fulvic acid-based, binding trace minerals to organic fulvic complexes for added gut absorption. Liquid drops are the most common and practical form, as the concentration allows for easy dose adjustment.
Humans have historically obtained trace minerals through unprocessed whole foods, mineral-rich spring and well water, and sea salt. As industrial farming stripped minerals from soil and water treatment removed them from drinking supplies, trace mineral deficiencies became increasingly common worldwide. Mineral drops — particularly those from the Great Salt Lake — became commercially popular in the latter half of the 20th century as a practical way to restore what modern life takes away. Indigenous and traditional cultures across the globe recognized the importance of mineral-rich waters and natural salts long before modern supplementation existed.
What it is typically used for, usual dose, cautions, and the study behind it where real trial data exists.
