This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

Pine is one of 38 Bach Flower Remedies created by Dr. Edward Bach, a British physician and homeopath, in the 1930s. It is made by sun-infusing fresh Scots Pine blossoms in spring water, then preserving the preparation in brandy. The resulting essence is used at extreme dilution, making it closer in concept to homeopathy than to herbal medicine — the intended therapeutic action is considered energetic or psychological rather than biochemical.
Within the Bach system, Pine is believed to shift the emotional state of people stuck in a cycle of excessive guilt, self-reproach, and the compulsive feeling of never doing enough. The remedy is thought to work by encouraging a more balanced, self-compassionate perspective — helping people accept that mistakes are part of being human rather than evidence of fundamental personal failure. From a modern psychological lens, this aligns with interventions targeting self-critical thinking patterns, such as self-compassion practices and cognitive reframing.
Available as liquid stock drops (taken 4 drops directly under the tongue or diluted in water), pre-made treatment bottles, oral sprays, and incorporated into topical creams. Stock bottles last years if stored away from heat and strong scents. The standard dilution is 2 drops of stock into 30ml of water to make a personal treatment bottle.
Dr. Edward Bach developed this remedy in 1935 as part of his complete system of 38 flower essences. Bach, trained as a physician and bacteriologist, became disillusioned with conventional medicine and sought a gentler healing system based on emotional states. He identified Pine specifically for what he called the 'guilt type' — people who blame themselves even for others' errors and who rarely feel their efforts are good enough. The Bach Centre in Oxfordshire, England continues to produce and promote the remedies according to his original methods.
