This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

Earthing, also called grounding, is the practice of physically connecting your body to the earth's surface — walking barefoot on grass, sand, or soil, or using conductive devices indoors that mimic this contact. The earth carries a mild negative electric charge, and when you make skin contact with it, free electrons flow into your body. Modern life keeps most people insulated from the earth by rubber-soled shoes and elevated living, cutting off this natural exchange.
The earth's surface is rich in free electrons, which act as natural antioxidants in the body. When these electrons enter the body through skin contact, they can neutralize positively charged free radicals involved in inflammation and tissue damage. Grounding also appears to influence the autonomic nervous system, shifting the body toward a calmer, more parasympathetic state, and has been shown to affect cortisol rhythms, blood viscosity, and inflammatory markers.
The most accessible form is simply going barefoot outdoors on grass, soil, sand, or near natural water for 20–60 minutes daily. For people who can't do this consistently, grounding mats and sheets connect to the ground terminal of a standard electrical outlet (no current flows through the user) and allow grounding during sleep or work. Grounding patches and bands are used for targeted use on specific body areas.
Walking barefoot on the earth is as old as human history — every traditional culture practiced it by default. Indigenous healing traditions from the Americas, Africa, and Asia often emphasized the restorative power of direct earth contact. The modern scientific study of earthing as a distinct therapeutic practice was largely pioneered by Clint Ober, an American cable television engineer, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, leading to the first peer-reviewed studies in the following decade.
What it is typically used for, usual dose, cautions, and the study behind it where real trial data exists.
