Can't keep an erection during sex
You get hard at the start. Then, part way through sex, it fades. This may happen now and then, or most times you try.
An erection needs steady blood flow and calm nerves. Many things can break that chain. Stress, worry about the last time, being tired, alcohol, or low mood are common ones.
Health issues can play a part too. High blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, low testosterone, and some drugs for mood or blood pressure all matter. Age counts as well, but losing an erection is not simply part of getting older.
When to see someone
See a doctor if this keeps up for more than a few months. Go sooner if you also have chest pain, leg pain when you walk, or you never wake up with an erection. Get help right away for a painful or curved erection, or one that lasts more than four hours.
Below is a list of home and plant-based remedies that people use for this. Each one has a grade that shows how strong the research behind it is. A grade is not a promise, so talk with your doctor before you try any of them.
