This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

A Liver Support Complex is a multi-ingredient formula designed to give the liver a comprehensive boost through several complementary pathways at once. Rather than relying on a single herb, these blends stack clinically studied botanicals and nutrients — each doing something slightly different — so the overall effect is broader and more robust. Think of it as a team effort: some ingredients shield liver cells from damage, some help the liver filter and neutralize toxins more efficiently, and some actively help repair cells that are already stressed.
The liver is the body's main filtration organ, processing everything from food and alcohol to medications and environmental chemicals. Liver Support Complex ingredients work by increasing the liver's own antioxidant production (especially glutathione), calming inflammation inside liver tissue, stabilizing the outer membranes of liver cells so they're harder to damage, and supporting the two-phase detoxification system the liver uses to break down and eliminate harmful compounds. Some ingredients also support bile production, which helps the liver move waste out of the body more effectively.
Capsules and softgels are the most common and convenient forms — softgels work well for fat-soluble ingredients like curcumin and phosphatidylcholine. Liquid extracts absorb quickly and let you adjust the dose easily, making them a good option for people who don't like swallowing pills. Some powder blends can be mixed into smoothies. Whichever form you choose, look for products that use standardized extracts (especially for silymarin and curcumin) so you're getting consistent potency.
Liver-protective herbs have been central to healing traditions across cultures for thousands of years. Milk thistle has been used medicinally in the Mediterranean since ancient Greek and Roman times — Pliny the Elder documented it in 77 AD. Turmeric has featured in Ayurvedic liver formulas for over 3,000 years. Schisandra has been part of Chinese medicine liver tonics for centuries. The modern multi-ingredient liver complex emerged in the late 20th century as clinical researchers began identifying the specific mechanisms behind these traditional herbs and started combining them for synergistic effect.
