This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

Female fertility support refers to a targeted combination of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and botanical herbs that work together to optimize the hormonal and cellular environment for conception. Rather than a single compound, it reflects a protocol approach — addressing ovulation, egg quality, uterine lining health, and hormonal balance simultaneously. This multi-ingredient strategy is backed by a growing body of clinical research and has deep roots in Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Mediterranean healing traditions.
Fertility is sensitive to oxidative stress, nutritional deficiencies, and hormonal imbalances — all of which these compounds address. Antioxidants like CoQ10 protect developing eggs from cellular damage, while nutrients like folate and zinc support healthy cell division and DNA synthesis. Herbs like Vitex help regulate the pituitary signals that govern ovulation, and myo-inositol helps improve insulin sensitivity — a key driver in PCOS-related cycle disruption.
Most women find a prenatal-grade multivitamin combined with targeted add-ons (CoQ10 ubiquinol, myo-inositol powder, and omega-3 softgels) to be the most practical approach. Vitex is best taken as a standardized extract capsule. Myo-inositol is often more bioavailable as a powder mixed into water. Ubiquinol (the reduced form of CoQ10) is better absorbed than standard CoQ10 and preferred for women over 35.
Nearly every ancient healing tradition recognized the importance of nourishment, balance, and seasonal living for female reproductive health. Ayurveda used Shatavari root to tonify the female reproductive system. Traditional Chinese Medicine built fertility protocols around warming herbs, acupuncture, and blood-nourishing foods. Western herbalism used red raspberry leaf and Vitex for cycle regulation. Modern clinical nutrition has since validated the biochemical mechanisms behind many of these approaches.
What it is typically used for, usual dose, cautions, and the study behind it where real trial data exists.
