This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

Children's probiotics are carefully selected strains of live, beneficial bacteria and yeasts that are safe and appropriate for young, still-developing digestive systems. Unlike adult formulas, pediatric probiotics use strains naturally found in the infant gut — especially Bifidobacterium species — that colonize readily and support healthy microbiome development. They come in kid-friendly forms like drops, powders, gummies, and chewables to make daily use simple.
The gut is home to trillions of bacteria that play a huge role in digestion, immune function, and even mood. In children, this microbiome is still forming and can be disrupted by antibiotics, illness, formula feeding, or stress. Probiotics add beneficial bacteria that crowd out harmful ones, strengthen the gut lining, and help train the immune system to respond appropriately. Many of the most well-researched strains for kids — like Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and Bifidobacterium infantis — work by producing helpful compounds that reduce inflammation and improve how the gut handles food and infection.
Drops are ideal for newborns and infants — a few drops added to breast milk or formula. Powders mix easily into food or drinks for toddlers. Chewable tablets and gummies work well for children aged 4 and up. Capsules can be opened and sprinkled on food. Refrigerated products typically have better live culture viability, though many shelf-stable products now use advanced encapsulation to maintain potency.
Fermented foods have been part of nearly every food culture for thousands of years, providing beneficial bacteria long before the term 'probiotic' existed. The modern science of probiotics in children began in earnest in the 1980s–90s, with Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG being isolated in 1985 and quickly becoming the most clinically studied strain in pediatric medicine. Today, children's probiotics are recommended by many pediatricians worldwide, especially alongside antibiotic courses.
