This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

Suo Quan Wan is a foundational Traditional Chinese Medicine formula recorded in the Song dynasty text 'Zhu Shi Ji Sheng Fang' (c. 1253 AD). Its name translates roughly to 'Reduce the Stream Pill,' reflecting its core purpose of tightening and stabilizing the bladder. The formula combines three ingredients — Yi Zhi Ren, Wu Yao, and Shan Yao — each playing a specific role in warming, moving, and nourishing the organs involved in urinary control.
In TCM terms, this formula is thought to address Kidney Yang deficiency and Bladder cold, where the warming and holding functions of the lower body are considered too weak to maintain proper urinary control. Yi Zhi Ren is traditionally used to warm the Kidneys and astringe essence, Wu Yao is thought to warm and move Qi in the lower abdomen to relieve the sense of urgency and frequency, and Shan Yao is used to tonify the Spleen and Kidney to provide a stable foundation. Together, they are believed to gently warm and tone the urinary system without being harsh or overly drying.
Traditionally prepared as small honey or water pills (wan), Suo Quan Wan is now widely available as modern compressed tablets or capsules for convenience. Classical decoction preparation is also used by practitioners for individualized dosing. Pill and tablet forms are the most practical for everyday use and are the most widely used format today.
First documented in the Song dynasty (960–1279 AD), Suo Quan Wan has been prescribed in China for nearly 800 years. It appears in multiple imperial-era formularies and remains a standard entry in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia to this day. It is one of the few classical TCM formulas still manufactured as a standardized over-the-counter product under national pharmaceutical standards in China.
