This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

The lymphatic system is the body's quiet drainage network — a web of vessels and nodes that filters waste, carries immune cells, and keeps fluid balanced throughout the body. Unlike the heart-pumped circulatory system, lymph fluid moves almost entirely through muscle contraction, breathing, and movement, which means a sedentary lifestyle or illness can leave it sluggish. A Lymphatic Cleanse Protocol is a structured combination of herbal botanicals, physical techniques, and lifestyle habits designed to get that system moving again.
The protocol works on three levels: physically stimulating lymph flow through movement (rebounding, diaphragmatic breathing, dry brushing, manual massage), reducing fluid congestion with mildly diuretic and anti-inflammatory herbs, and supporting the immune nodes themselves with adaptogenic and antimicrobial botanicals. Together these practices help the lymphatic vessels contract more effectively, move waste toward the lymph nodes for filtration, and ultimately return clean fluid back into circulation. Hydration is essential throughout — the lymphatic system cannot move well in a dehydrated body.
This protocol is usually practiced as a combination approach rather than a single product. Herbal support comes as tinctures, capsules, or teas taken daily. Physical practices — dry brushing, rebounding, breathwork, and manual lymphatic drainage massage — are layered in morning or evening routines. Some practitioners include contrast hydrotherapy (alternating warm and cool water in the shower) to stimulate vascular and lymphatic pumping.
Lymphatic awareness spans many healing traditions. In Ayurveda, 'rasa dhatu' (the plasma/lymph tissue) is considered the foundational nourishing fluid, and its purification is central to many cleanse protocols. Traditional Chinese Medicine addresses lymph indirectly through concepts of 'dampness' accumulation and prescribes movement and warming herbs to resolve it. European herbalists from the 17th century onward specifically identified lymphatic herbs — called 'alteratives' — as plants that gently shift the body's waste-clearing capacity. Modern manual lymphatic drainage was formalized by Danish physician Emil Vodder in the 1930s and is now a clinically recognized therapy used in hospitals worldwide for conditions like lymphedema.
