Helps

What does Solubilized keratin help with? Hair thinning and shedding: Solubilized keratin delivers the cystine-rich peptides that hair follicles need to build strong, resilient strands. Studies using branded solubilized keratin have found meaningful reductions in hair shedding and improvements in hair density over 90 days . Think of it as restocking the raw materials your follicles are trying to work with. Brittle or weak nails: Nails are about 90% keratin, so it makes sense that supplying more bioavailable keratin peptides helps them grow stronger and less prone to splitting. Clinical trials have shown improvements in nail hardness and reduced brittleness within 2–3 months of regular supplementation. Dry, rough skin: Keratin is a key structural protein in the outermost layer of skin, and keratin peptides appear to support skin hydration and smoothness when taken orally. Some trials have reported improved skin moisture levels and texture alongside hair and nail benefits. Slow nail growth: Beyond hardness, solubilized keratin has been linked to faster nail growth rates in clinical studies, likely because the follicle-like matrix cells at the nail root are better supplied with the amino acids they need to produce new nail tissue. Hair breakage and damage: By replenishing the internal protein structure of the hair shaft through systemic delivery, solubilized keratin can reduce the kind of mid-shaft breakage that comes from structural protein depletion — common after heat styling, chemical treatments, or dietary deficiency. Skin elasticity loss: Keratin peptides appear to support the integrity of the skin barrier and may improve elasticity modestly, complementing collagen-focused approaches. This is an emerging area, with the strongest effects seen when keratin is combined with a nutrient-rich diet. Post-styling or heat-damaged hair: Heat and chemical treatments deplete the hair's natural keratin stores, leaving it porous and fragile. Oral solubilized keratin helps replenish this protein from the inside out, while it grows, rather than just coating damaged strands from the outside like a topical treatment does. General hair quality decline: Whether from aging, nutritional gaps, hormonal shifts, or stress, many people experience a gradual drop in hair shine, thickness, and manageability. Solubilized keratin addresses the protein foundation of hair quality directly, with clinical data showing improvements in overall hair appearance and feel.

This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!
