This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!

Nat Mur (Natrum Muriaticum) is the ninth of 12 Schuessler biochemic tissue salts, prepared from common salt (sodium chloride) through a process of homeopathic trituration and extreme dilution. Unlike table salt, Nat Mur in tissue salt form is used at 6X, 12X, or 30X potency — so dilute that the therapeutic action is considered energetic or regulatory rather than nutritional. It is one of the most widely used tissue salts in European and Australian complementary medicine, with a long record of use dating back over 150 years.
In Schuessler's biochemic theory, sodium chloride governs water distribution throughout every cell in the body — too little leads to dryness, too much leads to bloating or waterlogging. Nat Mur is thought to gently remind cells to regulate their sodium-water balance rather than supplying the mineral in a dietary quantity. Practitioners use it when the body seems stuck in patterns of either excess or deficiency of fluid, whether that shows up physically as dry skin and headaches or emotionally as a tendency to hold things in.
Standard tissue salts come as small lactose-based sublingual tablets that dissolve under the tongue, bypassing digestion. Lactose-free versions use sucrose or are available as liquid drops for those with dairy sensitivity. Topical Nat Mur creams are used for dry or chapped skin. Combination cell salt products often include Nat Mur alongside other salts for fluid-related complaints.
Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler (1821–1898), a German homeopathic physician, developed his 12-salt system in the 1870s after analyzing the mineral composition of human ash following cremation. He proposed that disease arose from cellular mineral deficiencies and that micro-doses of the corresponding salt could correct them. His work drew on both homeopathic philosophy and early cell biology. Nat Mur became one of the most prescribed tissue salts globally, particularly in Germany, the UK, and Australia, where biochemic medicine found a lasting home in mainstream pharmacy.
What it is typically used for, usual dose, cautions, and the study behind it where real trial data exists.
