Helps

What does Magnesium Taurate help with? Magnesium taurate is a supplement. It pairs the mineral magnesium with taurine, an amino acid. Sellers offer it mainly for blood pressure, heart rhythm, sleep and calm. The library holds no human trial of this exact blend. Most of what is known comes from magnesium on its own, or from lab work. That is why the overall grade on file is D, meaning weak. High blood pressure Early evidence — human studies of magnesium and of taurine, none of this blend on file. Studies in people with high blood pressure found drops in both the top and bottom numbers. The drops looked largest in people who were low in magnesium to start with. The file lists no trial sizes, doses or journals, and no study of the taurate form itself. Evidence grade C · Traditional tier T0 Migraine attacks and headaches Early evidence — human magnesium studies in people who were low in magnesium. Low magnesium is one of the best-documented diet triggers for migraine. In people who were low, steady magnesium use was linked to fewer attacks. No trial size, dose or journal is recorded here, and none of the work used this blend. Evidence grade C · Traditional tier T0 PMS and period cramps Early evidence — human studies of magnesium taken in the second half of the cycle. Magnesium levels dip in the second half of the menstrual cycle. That dip is linked to mood swings, cramps, bloating and tiredness. Studies of magnesium taken in that window found easier PMS symptoms; no sizes or doses are on file. Evidence grade C · Traditional tier T0 Blood sugar and insulin resistance Evidence doesn't support this — association studies plus early work on taurine, no trial of this blend. People who are low in magnesium get type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome more often. That is a link, not proof that a supplement shifts blood sugar. In early studies, taurine appeared to improve how cells respond to insulin. Evidence grade D · Traditional tier T0 Trouble sleeping Evidence doesn't support this — reports linking evening magnesium use to better sleep, no trial on file. Evening use has been linked to falling asleep faster and waking less at night. Most of these reports come from older adults and people under long-term stress. They are links, not trial results, and no dose is recorded here. Evidence grade D · Traditional tier T0 Metabolic syndrome Evidence doesn't support this — observational link between low magnesium and this cluster of problems. People with metabolic syndrome tend to run low in magnesium. No trial on file has tested whether this blend shifts the whole cluster. The idea rests on its parts: blood pressure, blood sugar and heart health. Evidence grade D · Traditional tier T0 Anxiety and stress Not yet tested in people — lab pathway work and user reports only. In lab studies, taurine acted on the same calming path as GABA, the brain's own relaxing chemical. Lab work also suggests magnesium damps down an overactive stress response. Users often describe a quieter week or two in, but no human trial of this blend is on file. Evidence grade insufficient · Traditional tier T0 Palpitations and irregular heartbeat Not yet tested in people — mechanism and nutrition science only, no human trial on file. Magnesium is well established as needed for steady electrical activity in the heart. In lab work, taurine helped heart cells handle calcium, which drives each beat. No human trial of this blend for palpitations is on file, so no effect can be claimed here. Evidence grade insufficient · Traditional tier T0 Muscle cramps and tight muscles Not yet tested in people — general nutrition science and product claims, no human trial on file. Magnesium is well established as needed for muscles to relax after they tighten. Sellers say the taurate form absorbs well and is gentler on the gut than other forms. The library holds no human trial testing it for cramps, and no head-to-head gut comparison. Evidence grade insufficient · Traditional tier T0 What Magnesiu

This app is so cool! I've always wanted there to be a hub for all NATURAL remedies and preventative options but l've always had to do loads of digging to find the info I wanted for different natural products. HealisticMD has all the info I need in one place. It gave me various natural supplemental options for a condition I looked up, including what each remedy does and how much is usually recommended to take. It also gave me exact products I could buy for the problem I had looked up. It makes my process SO MUCH easier when I need to find non-pharmaceutical solutions to my needs.

There is a wealth of information on the app! I recently had bloodwork done and found I was deficient in a handful of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Iron, etc.) HealisticMD made it simple for me to find out what foods to eat/ supplements I needed to improve these deficiencies. It gives you so many ideas on prevention, natural health tips, where to buy the vitamins, when to take them, why, etc. I love how easy the app is to use too. I am currently working on getting pregnant. I was pleasantly surprised to find compelling data along with supplement suggestions to aid in the process, some of which my fertility doctor wasn’t even aware of. Highly recommend downloading, after all health is one our greatest gifts!
